Why it is here

Octane reports the 15th edition (24–26 April 2026) ran eight races spanning seven decades of F1 with 205 entries. It admitted 1980s turbo cars for the first time and launched the Cavallino Classic Monaco Ferrari F1 concours (2026-04-27). Motor Sport published a schedule and viewing guide before the event (2026-04-24). Magneto, a sister title of Octane, previewed the expanded grid; it is supporting only. Score drivers: prestige 9.2 from the circuit and the Automobile Club de Monaco's standing; provenance 9.0 from period F1 cars such as the race-winning Ferrari 1512, Surtees TS9 and McLaren M23; expertise 8.4; community 7.8 because it is biennial and the paddock is exclusive; experience 9.0. The second independent source is a pre-event guide rather than a race report, so the evidence is thinner than for comparable events.
