Condé Nast Traveler’s Mombo & Little Mombo page carries Gold List 2020, Readers’ Choice through 2025, and CNT Triple Crown — the Place of Plenty tag is earned on a 111,000-acre Chief’s Island concession, not a marketing line. The US 2025 RCA Rest of Africa list still has Mombo & Little Mombo inside the top ten; the UK 2025 RCA Rest of Africa list has them at #18. Robb Report’s 2018 rebuild note is the independent design file: nine tents at Mombo plus three at Little Mombo, Nick Plewman and Caline Williams-Wynn, private plunge pools. Ranked behind Ebony and Malewane on service/design, ahead of most Delta camps on setting and experience, and named as this camp — not ‘Wilderness’ the brand.
