Tetiaroa’s SWAC-cooled villas prove conservation can be the amenity — if you will take the Air Tetiaroa hop.

Why it is here

Condé Nast Traveler’s Tetiaroa page carries Gold List 2025 and CNT Triple Crown: ~35–36 lagoon villas, Air Tetiaroa from Papeete, and a closed atoll rather than a Bora Bora motu strip. Robb Report’s 2024 50 Best Luxury Hotels feature (and Best of the Best Lifestyle 2024 Green Hotel of the Year) treated the LEED Platinum / SWAC plant as the point, not a footnote — villas from about $4,694 in that cycle. Michelin’s inaugural Oceania Keys (Oct 2025) added Three Keys, one of two in the region at that tier. Held as a notable challenger to North Island because 35 villas is larger and the access hop is a scheduled private airline, not a helicopter to 11 keys.

Who it is for

UHNW South Pacific travelers who want a conservation-first atoll with hotel infrastructure, and who will fly Papeete–Tetiaroa rather than overwater-bungalow Bora Bora.
