Deer Valley
The most service-obsessed lift company in skiing — groomed, skier-only and every year the USA's best by vote.
Why it is here
World Ski Awards voters have named Deer Valley the USA's best ski resort every year since the awards began, including 2025, when it was also a world-title nominee. Condé Nast Traveller readers ranked it second in North America in 2025. Skiresort.info now measures 202 km of slopes, 41 lifts and a 933 m vertical up to 2,917 m. Terrain scores below the Western freeride resorts; experience and luxury are where it wins.
Who it is for
Skiers who want immaculate grooming, no snowboarders and hotel-grade service from the car park to the lift line.
