America's only true après-ski capital with four mountains to back it up — Snowmass does the skiing, Aspen does the rest.

Why it is here
Skiresort.info measures Snowmass at 237 km of slopes, 20 lifts and a 1,340 m vertical up to 3,813 m, and Aspen Mountain at 103 km, 8 lifts and 996 m. Condé Nast Traveller readers ranked Snowmass third and Aspen Mountain ninth in North America in 2025. High base elevations support the snow score; luxury is the strongest of any North American pick because of the town, not the lifts.
Who it is for
Skiers who want US-standard service, a real town with culture and dining, and four different mountains in one stay.
