Why it is here
GOLF Magazine’s World Top 100 has held Pine Valley at No. 1 since the inaugural 1985 list (GOLF.com Inside the ranking; Wally Dennis 2025–26 mirror still No. 1). Golf Digest America’s 100 Greatest 2025–26 also ranks it No. 1 in the U.S., with Digest’s Challenge category leadership historically citing Pine Valley. Golfweek coverage of McIlroy’s Mount Rushmore treats Pine Valley as the perennial U.S. No. 1 reference.
Who it is for
Architecture obsessives and invited guests chasing the purest strategic inland examination—not scenery seekers.
