Dubai World Cup
One of the world's richest race nights. The $12 million centrepiece drew a classic international clash in 2026.
Why it is here
Magnitude led all the way in the 30th Dubai World Cup on 28 March 2026 and beat Forever Young, the Breeders' Cup Classic and Saudi Cup winner, in the $12 million race (Thoroughbred Daily News, 2026-03-28; BloodHorse, 2026-03-28). Daily Racing Form notes that Forever Young, even in defeat, became only the second horse to top $30 million in career earnings (2026-03-28). On the 2025 ratings, the World Cup itself ranked 35th (119.00), while the Dubai Sheema Classic on the same card ranked 5th (124.00) (IFHA, 2026-01-20). Score drivers: prestige 9.0 from the purse and the international field all three titles report; sporting level 8.9, a blend of the Sheema Classic's 5th place and the World Cup's 35th. Exclusivity, social and experience are not scored.
Who it is for
Owners and fans who want a world-class international race night in the Gulf, with Japanese, American and European runners.
