Why it is here
Critical consensus around the 2013 restoration (BBC, Spectator) established the Rijksmuseum as a global benchmark for chronological national display with Night Watch as altarpiece. TAN 2025 figures (2.3M) show sustained top-tier European attendance; ongoing Operation Night Watch keeps the masterpiece as live conservation theater.
Who it is for
Patrons who prioritize looking over prestige-checkboxes; Amsterdam pairs cleanly with private Dutch Golden Age collecting interests.
