Equestrian Events Bloodstock sale
Rank 22
P.S.I. Auction
Sport-horse breeding's most exclusive auction: a small collection of young horses that sells for record prices.
Why it is here
At the 46th P.S.I. Auction in December 2025, the six-year-old mare Chacoontilotta PS sold for €3.5 million as top lot. The four-year-old dressage stallion Jongleur made €1.9 million, and total turnover was €20,690,000 (Equnews, 2025-12-14). Hooforia also reports the €3.5 million top price (2025-12-16), and Eurodressage covers both sales (2025-12-16). The 47th auction is scheduled for 11–12 December 2026 in Ankum (P.S.I.). Coverage of this sale comes mainly from equestrian trade titles, so the evidence base is thinner than for the Thoroughbred sales. Score drivers: exclusivity 9.0 from a select collection of young horses; prestige 8.6 from the record prices. Sporting level, social and experience are not scored. Not investment advice. This entry ranks the sale as an event and a market venue; it is not a recommendation to buy a horse or to treat bloodstock as an investment. Past sale prices do not predict future values.
Who it is for
Dressage and show-jumping riders, owners and investors in sport horses buying top young prospects.
