Why it is here
Octane's David Lillywhite writes that at the 31st running, Hagerty's fifth, 'the big collectors – and their important cars – have returned'. Judging moved to the new M100 standard and 280 cars were shown. Best of Show Concours d'Elegance went to the William Lyon Family's 1931 Duesenberg Model J 'Tapertail' Speedster, and Best of Show Concours de Sport to the 1969 McLaren M8B (2026-03-09). Robb Report (2026-03-09) and THE SHOP (2026-03-16) cover the same winners. Score drivers: prestige 8.6 because Octane historically rated it 'second only to Pebble Beach'; provenance 8.4 from separate judging criteria for race and preservation cars; expertise 8.4; community 8.6; experience 8.4. Hagerty owns both the event and its auction partner Broad Arrow, so Hagerty's own coverage is not counted as independent.
Who it is for
Collectors of American classics, race cars and preservation cars who want a relaxed, high-quality spring concours with strong auctions alongside.
